Mrs. Thelma A. Royer, 51, a native of Montgomery County, died Sunday in her home near Crawfordsville. Death was attributed to a coronary occlusion. Born June 7, 1913 in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood, Mrs. Royer was the daughter of Russell and Grace McMurray Clifton. She married Fred Royer Jan. 7, 1933. Mrs. Royer was a member of the Youngs Chapel Christian Church and Sigma Zeta Chapter of the Pi Omicron Sorority. She was a 1931 graduate of the Linden High School. Survivors include the husband, a son, Ronald L. Royer of South Bend, the mother, a resident of Crawfordsville; a brother, Bill Clifton, Rt. 6, Crawfordsville, and a granddaughter, Robin K. Royer. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery. Rev. John R. Servies will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home.
